The 19th Police District Council
What is a Police District Council?
District Council is a new elected body focused on issues of policing and public safety. It was created by the Chicago City Council after years of activism to make policing more responsive to community needs. District Councils will give our community a voice in what public safety and policing will look like in our neighborhoods. Chicago’s 19th Police District will be represented by three District Council Members.
